Caring for your reusable bags properly will ensure a lifetime of use! You don't need to wash your bags after each use if you're using them for dry items or produce with skins or peels. Turn inside out and shake out any matter and pin them up on a clothes line to air out.​

WASHING: 

All of our bags are machine washable. Use an eco-friendly unscented detergent and a cold water wash. However, we recommend hand washing your bags unless it's necessary for a more thorough clean. 

DRYING:

The upcycled cotton reusable produce bags are all pre-shrunk and can be put in the dryer with any load of clothes (but go green and let them airdry).The organic cotton muslin and mesh produce bags should lay flat to dry. Slight shrinkage may occur with machine drying.

Providing the best care for your products will ensure you have them for many years to come. When the time comes to replace them, all of our organic cotton produce and bulk bags can be placed right into your home compost and will break down over a few months. If you use a commercial compost service they will break down into natural matter even faster.
